Psalm 139:13-16 


”For you formed my inward parts;
you knitted me together in my mother's womb.
I praise you, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made.
Wonderful are your works;
my soul knows it very well.
My frame was not hidden from you,
when I was being made in secret,
intricately woven in the depths of the earth.

Here are the ministries that we welcome you to join in at the refuge:

 

If you love being outdoors and have an interest in caring for creation, Here is a bit more information about the ministries listed above that you might want to get involved in:

  • Outdoor Discipleship meets every first and third Sunday of every month, even in the winter. For more information about this ministry or to get signed up, please contact Kathy in the office at hello@refuge-church.com

  • Join with our Stream Team once every fall and spring to do a macroinvertibrate study of the creek that runs through the church grounds

  • On Tuesdays in the summer a group gathers together to pick up trash in the surrounding area of The Refuge

  • Participating in our community garden during the summer months

Are you looking to help with the refugee community, work with those with special needs or interested in being discipled? Here is a bit more information about some of the ministries that you may want to join:

  • Strong Tower Ministry’s vision is to bring East African refugees into fellowship with Christ and The Refuge is involved in helping them in this church plant where they could worship using their cultural ways. There is also a group that helps teach english to the the refugee’s at Strong Tower. For more detailed information about this specific ministry, click HERE

  • 222 Discipleship is a great way to get a deeper understanding of what it is to be a disciple of Jesus. You will get matched up with someone who has already gone through the discipleship program.   • Various small groups meet together through out the month, including a small group that meets on Thursdays at various local restaurants called the Fellowship of Friends. To learn more about the different small groups you can join, please reach out to the office at hello@refuge-church.com
